Supported
Housing is a division of Three Rivers that provides accommodation and
specialist services to people who need extra staffing support or purpose
built accommodation to live independently.
The four main types of service are as follows:
- Intensively staffed accommodation for people who are vulnerable,
homeless or threatened with homelessness.
- Schemes for people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities
or mental health support needs with staff on site.
- Floating support services for people with poor mental health or
learning disabilities.
- Small group living homes which are registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection.
We develop these services in partnership with local authorities, health
and primary care trusts. In the main, these are funded through grants
either from the Housing Corporation or through local statutory partners.
This
relationship with social services, Supporting People authorities and
bodies such as National Care Standards means that all services are subject
to external quality checks and scrutiny.
To ensure that we are meeting all standards and that we are getting
things right, we seek feedback from our tenants and agencies who support
them through a tenant’s group and surveys.
