The Independent Living Service is provided by a specialist team within Three Rivers Housing Association and is available to all tenants. The team gives advice and assistance on a wide range of services with the aim of helping you to carry on living independently in your own home and even to improve your quality of life. The service is successful in financial inclusion work. This includes benefits advice, money management, fuel advice and financial check ups. Another key area of the service is assessment for and provision of minor aids and adaptations that may be required in your home due to disability. Assistance is also given to arrange more major adaptations. The Independent Living Team also manage our sheltered housing schemes and can refer on to other support services, care services and community alarm provisions.
